Antique Portrait Brooch Pendant Cameo Hand Painted Porcelain Victorian Bird Pin. We are now accepting offers for this lovely hand painted miniature portrait painted on porcelain of a lovely your woman mounted in a rolled gold pendant / brooch setting. It is a beautiful piece.

The painting is well done and intricately detailed. It features a lovely young lady dressed in eighteenth century entire holding a dove. It measures approximately 1 1/4" w x 1 7/8" h inches. It is mounted in a rolled gold mounting, which has thicker and more layers of gold than modern gold plated or gold filled brooch and pendant settings. The painting depicts a lovely lady dressed in eighteenth century entire cradling a dove in her arms. This appears to be a one of a kind miniature portrait brooch rather than a stock painting made for a painted cameo. Ladies holding small birds and animals were and are highly favorited by miniature portrait collectors and hand painted cameo collectors alike.

This portrait, on porcelain, is intricately painted, detailed, well done and in good vintage condition. It dates to the early to mid 1800s. It has minor wear, a few very tiny scratches, see enlarged photos.

Photo are taken under bright light and enlarged several times. Tiny scratches are expected on a brooch of this age. They appear many times larger in enlarged photos than in real life. In real life most are the size of a pin prick and are not really noticeable when worn.

Remember brooch is 1 1/4" w x 1 7/8" h, when looking at photos. The brooch has been gently cleaned.
