Antique Rose Cut Diamond Bird Brooch

  
This antique diamond brooch dates late 1800's to early 1900's. The bird has a ruby eye and the rest of the body is encrusted with rose cut diamonds. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamond prevents total carat weight estimation. Diamonds are bright and have a nice sparkle. Ruby fairly dark red with good clarity. The bar and pin tests as 14k. Bird is sterling silver with a gold wash.
