Huge Vintage Antique Art Deco Sterling Silver Emerald Glass Peacock Bird Brooch

  
This is a beautiful antique Art Deco style, circa 1940's, sterling peacock brooch. It has emerald green glass prong set rhinestones for plumage. There are eight emerald green glass stones, each of which is set with ornate prongs. It has a working fold over clasp.

The peacock has a green rhinestone for the eye. There is one stone missing above the eye, otherwise all stones are present and sparkling. The sterling metal is relatively tarnish free and marked "sterling" on the back of the brooch.

The brooch measures 3 ½ inches (8.75cm) tall and 2 ¾ inches (6.88cm) wide. Overall, this antique Art Deco Peacock brooch is in great shape for its vintage age. It would be a fabulous addition to your collection, make a great gift or a perfect adornment for weddings and special occasions.
