Free Registered Tracked post for this item. Absolutely Magnificent Vintage 1940's "CORO CRAFT STERLING" Silver Brooch - Beautiful Large Rhinestone Bird -This is a truly RARE and Gorgeous Piece. It is a very large and Impressive Bird covered in Rhinestones. It is truly spectacular and in very good condition given its age. This Awesome brooch is in fantastic condition for its age.

It is a lovely large impressive bird which is covered in white rhinestones. The rhinestones are not as shiny as they once where, but the brooch still sparkles. I believe there is one small rhinestone missing from the back of the birds head. However this does not take away from the appeal of this piece. (It could also be replaced).

It is made of solid Sterling Silver and is Hallmarked "Coro Craft" Sterling. It weighs an impressive 22.61 grams. It has a secure pin and what appears to be a C clasp. I think it was a roll over clasp and the part that rolls over is gone. I have provided a picture for you to look at, the roll over clasp piece could be replaced or repaired by a jeweller.

It measures approx 5.7cm across x 4.8cm top to bottom (approx). It will come in the lovely Coro Craft box pictured. I think the piece would benefit from a professional clean, but you may like the patina.

I will leave it up to the new owner to decide. I have not tried to clean this brooch even though I think it needs it. I believe it should be done professionally to ensure the Rhinestones are not damaged. The photos form part of my description so please look at them carefully.
