Victorian 9ct Gold Bird Brooch. A beautiful antique Victorian brooch made from 9ct gold in an open circular design with a centrally set bird in flight. The bird is a swallow carrying a small red stone (garnet) from its beak. This brooch dates lates 1800's with its original pin and'C' hook fastener to the back. It shows UK hallmarks for Birmingham and 375 and the makers mark'JA & S' possibly attributed to Joseph Adam & Son?
