Vintage 14k Yellow Gold Opal Ruby Enamel Owl Brooch Pin. 14k yellow gold brooch with two owls sitting on a branch. The piece measures 1 1/4 wide. It is set with an oval opal and each owl has rubies eyes.

The bodies and crowns are done in red enamel with blue enamel wings (some enamel loss on one wing). This lovely well made brooch is hallmarked and has a makers mark of FFF on the tail. You could easily have a jeweler add a bale and turn this brooch into a pendant. All pictures enlarged to show details. Please look at all 12 pictures as they are part of the description.
