Vintage Art Deco Jewellery Adorable Carved Celluloid fantail dove birds brooch

  

An Adorable vintage French gold tone brooch which measures 4cm by 3.5cm. The brooch has a very pretty carved effect within the celluloid featuring two dove birds in cream coloured celluloid. This is over a layer of unusual red celluloid featuring the trees and foliage in the background. It is very finely detailed and the doves have lovely fantails. There is a good French barrel clasp.

It is a delightful Art Deco brooch and although there are some small signs of age it remains in lovely condition. Please note that the display box is not included in the sale, many thanks.
