Vintage French Diamond Sapphire & Lapis Lazuli 18K Gold Hand Carved Bird Brooch. Presented is a vintage French diamond & Lapis Lazuli 18K yellow gold fancy bird brooch. This amazing work of art features detailed work in the gold around a large size natural lapis gemstone with diamond accents.

This beautiful creation looks like a one of a kind creation by a French designer. It is signed & hallmarked but we could not make out the maker.

This fine piece is set with approximately 2.0 carats of diamonds; these diamonds are F to G color and VS clarity. It also has a pink sapphire weighing approximately 0.15 carats and a large size carved lapis lazuli gemstone.

This piece is made of 18K yellow gold and it weighs 38.2 grams which is well over an ounce. This fine piece measures 3.5 inches by 1.85 inches (90mm by 47mm) and it has light wear on the gold with a few concentrations of patina forming here and there.
