Gorgeous large vintage German signed artisan handmade 835 silver brooch featuring open design with beautifully crafted art nouveau style birds and flowers with fine etched detailing, zigzag accent around frame, safety brooch back and original long chain with safety pin. Hallmarks: 835, DR GM, Handarbiet, Koschorreck. Brooch: 4.7 x 4.7 cm. Chain: 6.7 cm long. Safety Pin: 1.8 x 0.8 cm. Approximate era for this piece is mid century. It is in excellent vintage condition with very minimal signs of general ageing and wear- some minor remaining tarnish on back. Last two photos before I cleaned the brooch to share a tiny part of its journey- possibly on the way to you. I have cleaned the brooch gently with a silver cloth and water.
