Vintage Jewellery lovely signed sterling silver Modernist Dove Birds brooch

  

A beautiful and unusual vintage solid sterling silver Modernist Design Dove Birds brooch which measures a good size of 5.5 cm by 3 cm. The birds are sitting side by side and are smooth and shiny, the one at the back has an interesting etched pattern on his chest.

The brooch has a good rollover clasp and a set of London sterling silver hallmarks which date it to 1993. It also has the makers initials CLC and 85/200 to indicate that this is number 85 of a limited edition of 200. It is a very unusual and striking vintage brooch and remains in super vintage condition.
