Simply Gorgeous Vintage Sterling Silver 925 Brooch featuring Two Love Birds Nesting in a Bonnet with Ribbon - with 26 Facet Cut Amethyst Stones in claw setting around the floral design, the 2 birds with large ornate wings are set with Ruby Eyes and covered in Marcasites so they sparkle at the brooch moves in the light - a large brooch of 2.25" by 1.5" the reverse is stamped 926 and has a good working secure pin catch - this style of brooch was very fashionable around the 1940s and 1950s and this is such a beauty with a lovely narrative and the most delicate and pretty design in good condition, this would make an ideal gift for someone special or why not keep it for yourself - you are worth it! - please check photographs which form part of the description and do help - in a handsome gift presentation box - don't miss it.
