Vintage Mexico Sterling Silver & Blue Jasper Gemstone 3 Parrot Birds Brooch Pin

  

This fabulous mid century Mexico sterling silver and gemstone hand crafted parrot brooch is a rare find indeed. The 3 parrots are designed with layered, hand cut teal blue jasper bellies and sterling silver heads, wings and tails. The silver is created with lots of interesting detail and tribal look stampings on the wings. The parrots sit side by side within a braided sterling perch. 1 3/4" W x 1 1/4" H and weighs 8.6g.

It is in good vintage condition, with normal light wear and patina. The vintage parrot brooch is signed on the back. 2 outside birds have the Eagle 82 symbol and 925 marks. The middle bird has a circular symbol with HECHO EN MEXICO around the'smith's mark UGG.
