It is a bar brooch set with a highly detailed little duck just taking flight, the duck is crafted in 15ct gold and platinum and has textured and enamel detailing. Ducks were known to symbolise many things in jewellery from new beginnings to nurturing and care so they are wonderfully symbolic.

It is a versatile piece that could be worn a multitude of ways from a tie pin to a brooch so would make an excellent choice for gifting. Marked 15ct and PLAT, Art Deco era c1910s.
