There is lovely filigree wire-work on the bezel setting. The brooch measures 1 14/16" wide x 1 3/16" tall. The clasp and tube hinge are in working condition and the hinge has been repaired at some point.

There is minimal no missing tesserae that I can detect (the tiny hand made glass tiles). There may be a few gaps and recessed pieces.
