Please take a moment to read the entire description and view all of the photographs. Presented is a vintage c. 1930s-50s gilt metal brooch from France. This utterly charming piece depicts a mother pigeon feeding a trio of chicks in the nest.

The chicks are made of a separate piece mounted on a post so they move back and forth, impatient and hungry. The birds eyes are tiny red paste stones. I could find no other jewelry by Wyler, but its not surprising that a clockmaker would produce a piece of jewelry with an animated component!
