From a world renown jewelry designer I present to you this beautiful baby chick brooch from J Rossi. 1950's VINTAGE/ANTIQUE It is a J ROSSI signed design piece, made and stamped 18 karat yellow gold (the head is hollow to keep down the weight) in the shape of a cute baby chick. The eye is made up of a natural ruby and surrounded by 5 accent diamonds.

The piece is three-dimensional with beautifully rendered feathers on the wings and head, he is perched upon a golden tree branch. The body is a 12mm by 10mm natural turquoise cabochon. The turquoise is not sealed and has a slight discoloration from wear that does not detract from the aesthetics of the piece.
