Beautiful Antique Art Nouveau 10K Gold Floral Birds Maiden Girl Lapel Pin Brooch

  
A gorgeous antique American Art Nouveau 10K gold maiden and birds lapel pin or brooch, dating to the circa 1890's. This lovely and very finely detailed solid 10K yellow gold Art Nouveau lapel pin or brooch has a fabulous repousse scene showing a beautiful young woman in profile looking at a leafy branch with three birds on it, her flower adorned hair curling wonderfully around the edges. The reverse has a C-clasp pin as well as a hook for sliding over a lapel. The brooch is stamped'10K' and tests for 10K gold. The pin measures approximately 15/16 inches across and has a total weight of approximately 2.5 grams. The pin is in very good condition with light general wear. The lapel hook has some wear and the replaced pin is sterling silver. The pin and clasp work well.
