C1910 Jugendstil silver amethyst birds and urn brooch / pendant Fahrner style

  

A beautiful hand crafted design showing import marks (triangle) into the UK (Birmingham) The symbol was used between 1904 & 1998. The import hallmarks are relatively recent and I'm not sure if this is an old pre-owned i.

From the early 1900s continental piece imported much later to the UK and stamped accordingly or if its a recent reproduction of an early design. It also carries a 925 stamp from the original maker? The piece might fit the style of some of Fahrner's jewellery but also looks like some of the Danish work that emerged during the Nouveau/Deco period. With vertical pin allowing the piece to be used as a pendant.

The piece shows a pair of birds (looking like woodpeckers anatomically) sitting on an urn. The photos will do most of the decorative explanation. I have not tested the stone but assume it to be amethyst. Apart from a wipe, the piece has not been polished. Items are sent insured, tracked and signed for.
