A charming vintage estate 9K gold and ruby owl brooch or pin. This very pretty solid 9K gold brooch has a very cute owl perched on a branch. The owl is highly detailed with all over textured feathers, pricked up ears and two faceted natural ruby inlaid eyes which glow a wonderful deep red. Unusually the back of the brooch is also highly detailed with all over textured feathers and fine details. The reverse has a roll over C clasp and London, England hallmarks including maker'VJB', date letter'R' for 1991 and'375' for 9K gold.

The brooch measures approximately 1 1/8 inches x 7/8 inches and has a total weight of about 7.3 grams. The brooch is in excellent condition. Thanks for looking and please take a look at my other items!
