Coro Brooch Peacock Bird Vintage 1940 Adolf Katz Pearl Belly Enamel Rhinestones Gold. This is a gorgeous figural peacock brooch.
It is an unsigned Coro piece designed by Adolf Katz and design patent dated to 1940. The feathers have a dark blue enamel with multicolored spots, red head and feet and a yellow beak.
The belly is an imitation pearl with minor scratches. The comb has tiny multicolored rhinestones and the body is accented with crystal rhinestones.
There is some aging to a few of the stones. The eye is a green rhinestone. The closure is a safety locking closure soldered to the frame with a straight pin stem. It is a heavier and quite collectible piece in good condition. Pictures are provided as part of the description, and all measurements are to be considered approximate.
