Fabulous Vintage Designer Figural Bird Rhinestone Inset Jeweled Tail Brooch

  

The bird has a "crown", so assuming it is some type of parrot or exotic bird, with the crown and the body (other than the wing) totally encrusted with shimmering small round faceted crystal rhinestones. The tail is amazing with silver tone metal "caps" over oval faceted amethyst crystal rhinestones. The caps are also inset with more little stones. The brooch is extremely dimensional and large, measuring over 3 3/4" from side to side and about 2 1/4" from top to bottom. This piece was produced by a high end, top quality designer.
