FINE QUALITY ANTIQUE ENGLISH 18K GOLD PEARL SQUIRRELS & BIRD BRANCH BROOCH c1880. An antique English, solid 18 carat yellow & rose gold (tests thereabouts) brooch; beautifully modelled as two squirrels on a branch, with tiny ruby eyes, holding natural pearl'nuts', and attended by an enamelled bird. CONDITION : All original and very, very good.

Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Some enamel loss to bird, pplease see pics. DIMENSIONS : 33 x 20 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
