RARE 1940's Figural Bird Brooch Rhinestone Embedded Amber Stones In Wings

  
First of all, it is big. I have never seen a brooch with these oddly shaped topaz stones, and having them in the wings is unique and stunning! The top of each wing, the neck and the bird's feather "crown" are inset with sparkling crystal rhinestones. The topaz colored stones are slightly frosted. The eye of this feathered friend is a topaz rhinestone.

The metal is in great condition with minimal surface scratching, as is common with these old brooches. He is very unique and very dimensional, measuring 3 1/2" from top to bottom and not quite 2" across.
