Rare VTG Danish Modernist Bodil Nielsen Ceramic Bird&Hedgehog Brooches Handmade. These 2 brooches/pins have been hand-made by Bodil Nielsen. I believe they are made of ceramic type clay. One of them has a bird on it, and the other has a hedgehog and a half-moon on it (see photos). The bird pin has a brown background, and the hedgehog pin has a black background (see photos).

Each brooch/pin has a silver metal pin (there are no markings to say what type of metal it is). There are no maker marks on either pin, but I was able to determine the maker from pictures of the pins. The bird brooch/pin measures 1 1/4 wide and deep. The hedgehog brooch/pin measures 1 3/8" wide and 1 1/4" deep.

These pins have some wear and age to them. There are small imperfections on them on the front and back (see photos). There is a glaze pop on the back of the hedgehog pin (see photos).
