Vintage 9ct Gold Ruby & Pearl set Bird Brooch c1963. Which weighs 4.7 grams, has been beautifully crafted as a Bird sitting on a Branch beside it's Nest. The Bird is beautifully modelled & set with a Ruby for it's eye, while the nest is equally realistic with three beautiful white Pearls depicting the eggs.

It is stamped on the reverse of the bird's tail with a full hallmark confirming that it is made from solid 9ct Gold and that it was assayed in London in 1963/64. Is in great condition and is complete & ready to wear with it's original hinge, pin & secure Clasp.
