Incredible oversized vintage sterling silver brooch, quite the statement piece! Measures 4.5 inches tall and about 2.5 inches wide. Detailed tropical bird or parrot with long tail feathers, perched on a branch with flowers. Nice original patina, genuine sterling silver metal. This is an older 1930's - 1940's piece that bears an old sterling mark, made in Mexico. It is not signed but similar in style to Los Castillo Taxco silver pieces hailing from Mexico during the same time. In great vintage condition, clasp is in good working condition and no major dents or dings. I have not polished it, to preserve the original patina that some customers prefer however I will include a polishing cloth if you'd like to shine it up. Perfect on a coat or suit jacket!
