Vintage 5.0ct Ruby 4.0ct Emerald Pearl & Jade 14K Yellow Gold Bird Brooch. Up for sale is a vintage ruby, emerald, pearl & jade bird brooch. This gorgeous brooch is made of 14K yellow gold.

This bird brooch features a large size bird created out of special cut gemstones and gold work. The body is made of a massive free form silver color pearl and next to the bird you can see a grape vine made of rubies. One of the emeralds in the piece is cracked but it doesnt look like it needs to be replaced yet. The ruby gemstone beads weigh approximately 5.0 carats; they have purplish red color and some inclusions.

The emeralds weigh approximately 4.0 carats; they have rich green color and some inclusions. The jade is carved cabochon cut and the cultured pearls measure approximately 23x11mm & 11mm. This vintage piece has light wear and one small emerald is cracked. This brooch measures 7 x 3.5cm (2.75 x 1.37 inch). The weight of this brooch is 22 grams.
