Vintage ALICE CAVINESS Sterling Silver Filigree Love BIRDS Pin Brooch Rare. Caviness Jewelry is distinctive and unusual, which explains why it remains so popular today. This company began production in about 1945, after World War II. Alice Caviness died in 1983.

Some Alice Caviness pieces were manufactured in West Germany, and are marked as such. Many of these are sterling, often in delicate filigree. This exquisite vintage sterling silver pin is signed, ALICE CAVINESS and STERLING GERMANY on rectangle cartouches on back. 2" wide x 1-1/4" tall x 1/4 deep.

The design consists of a dimensional, gorgeous sterling silver ornate, filigree love birds on a branch. It has a working c clasp closure.
