Delightful and beautiful - enameled blue and white and accented with pink rhinestones is this pair of swooping swallows. Nice detailing on feathers, tail, even the white heard with blue rhinestone eyes. The larger one is 2" x 1 ¼", and the smaller one measures 1 ½" x 1". These are equipped with double prongs which worked well with heavy coats or furs - they can still be worn as brooches. They are constructed of a heavy base metal and are in very good vintage condition.

In symbolism, the swallow represented love, hope, loyalty and freedom. This pair would make a great gift for the bird lover, or a gift between friends or partners.
