The clasp is a safety type clasp. This piece is marked Sterling and MB (phrygian cap).

Features pave paste rhinestones, oval shaped emerald green facet paste stone. This is a book referenced piece. Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 1 p 62, dated 1944. From my own personal collection. Time for someone else to enjoy it!

Condition: Very Good; item is pre-owned and has mild signs of use. Some gold plating is worn away. Seems like a common thing with this pin.
