Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Quetzal Pin. Sterling silver Vintage Mexican Quetzal bird pin. The hollow repousse work bird measures. The back is marked sterling Mexico. The marks are impressed on the backside. SILVER MEXICO is an early mark attributed to the 1920's thru the mid 40's. The silver purity is commonly above 925. 2 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches tall. The workmanship is very high quality. The pin has pin clasp that is slightly bent but is secure.

There are a few dark areas of tarnish I presume that I have not cleaned. The pin weighs 6 ounces.
