Vintage Solid Silver Marcasite Bird of Paradise Brooch - Red eye c1930s. A lovely vintage solid silver marcasite brooch in very good original condition.

The large brooch is in the shape of a bird and encrusted with sparkling marcasite stones. It has a ruby red stone for its eye. The brooch would date in the 1930s. The brooch measures approx 1-7/8" tall x 1-3/8" at the widest point (48mm x 35mm). There is no damage and there are no missing marcasites.

Marked SILVER to the back (for solid silver). The pin and roll over locking clasp are secure and working well. The brooch weights 10.3 grams. For accuracy any marks are the reflection of either the lights or my black camera.
