A stunning, solid silver brooch featuring an impressive phoenix in relief. I was quite happy to acquire this wonderful piece and was drawn in by the detail and quality of the craftsmanship.

All of the edges are crisp, the individual linework in the feathers shows finely and the flow & balance of figure are all on point. Its sizable as well at 3 ¼ wide and 3 tall, with 24.7 grams of.

Even the backside of this brooch is finished with care, with sharp casting. This could easily be converted into a necklace as well, if you desire. The piece was constructed in two layers, which creates even more depth and movement in the design. Ive recently given this phoenix a light polish to remove the years of tarnish.

Some prefer the darker tone, you can see how this will beautifully patinate over time in the last picture. There are two markings that Ive been able to find. 925 designating its 92.5% sterling silver and CEM, which could be the artisans initials. Condition is fantastic all around. All sales donate over 10% of profits to animal charities.
