Vintage 1940s Coro Parakeet Bird Enamel and Rhinestone Fur Clip. Adorned with lovely green, red, yellow, and brown enameling, and sparkling clear, blue, pink, and yellow rhinestones. This lovely bird clip is one half of Coro Parakeet Duette.

Mark: Unsigned (the individual clips were not marked, only the duette frame were signed). Website Reference: The full duette is featured on a well known Vintage Costume Jewelry website. Identification Reference: The design, quality, construction, enameling, and the bird, flowers, and branches design are all consistent with Coro birds of the 1940s. Condition: Enameling is in very good condition with only a few tiny nicks, visible on close inspection.

Rhinestones are still sparkling but there are a few stones that have darkened/aged (please see photos), and there is one tiny stone missing. Finish is in very good condition. Clip is in perfect working order. This fur clip was once part of a Coro Duette.
