This Exceptional, Impossible to Find. HUGE, original and EXTREMELY RARE, SIGNED "CROWN TRIFARI" Bird of Paradise rhinestone brooch that is in OUTSTANDING condition.

This super rare and MASSIVE brooch was designed and created by Alfred Philippe, dating to AUGUST 29, 1950. What makes this particular Trifari Bird of Paradise brooch so EXCEPTIONALLY RARE, is that. It features pave' and baguette rhinestones to COVER THE BODY ENTIRELY. You can find this same design with gold Trifanium polished pieces and rhinestones. But this one is COMPLETELY EXECUTED with ORIGINAL RHINESTONES and IS NEVER FOUND with its body completely covered in rhinestones. The plumes of the bird have graceful, tapered feathers with channel set baguettes set as well as the wings. Hundreds of tiny pave' rounds complete the body.

This magnificent bird has a ruby red glass cabochon eye, and the pin back is straight and tight. The crystal stones are bright and shiny.

Another RARE fact is that the stunning original bright and sparkly baguettes are clear and bright. The setting is a polished heavily plated silver rhodium that is in exceptional condition as you can see. Any yellow on the silver rhodium are merely reflections from the light bulb that is directly above the pieces.

The back is marked Crown Trifari Pat. I have added a picture of the original Trifari patent drawing and information for you to observe of this pin dating to August 29, 1950. Another Rare item is that this brooch says Patent Pending, which means, He had applied for the Patent on April 28th, 1950, and created the brooch, before he got the patent. Which pushes me to believe, this one may have been the model brooch he created. The earrings are in mint condition also, any shadows or other colors on them are from the light bulb directly above them. And they are a perfect match. All 3 pieces created by Alfred Phillip. ALSO, whoever buys it know, you are not paying for the earrings, they are going as my gift to you. So, this is the bottom price. I will not take any less than this period. All original rhinestones are present. Silver rhodium is lush, polished and GORGEOUS.
